I am thrilled to announce the “Leading from Where You Are” workshop series, a set of three 90-minute workshops explicitly designed for mid-level professionals in higher education. This professional development opportunity, offered by APLU in collaboration with Dr. Alison Kadlec of Sova, provides actionable strategies and tools for leading change, fostering collaboration, and promoting equity – essential elements for driving student success initiatives. We strongly encourage you to take advantage! The three workshops are:

Leveraging Relational Power
Wednesday, July 24th, 1-2:30 PM ET

The final workshop emphasizes the importance of emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationships in leading meaningful change. It explores strategies for facilitating complex conversations, supporting authentic collaboration, and ensuring diverse perspectives are included in decision-making processes.

Each session requires a separate registration. These workshops will provide actionable strategies and tools for leading change, fostering collaboration, and promoting equity — essential elements for driving student success initiatives at your institution.

Participation is free, but space is limited to 100 participants per workshop. Based on your interests and availability, you can choose to attend one, two, or all three sessions. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your leadership skills and connect with peers across the Powered by Publics network.

If you have any questions about the workshop series or the registration process, please don’t hesitate to contact @Gregory Thornton at gthornton@aplu.org.
